The Parent Friends Association (PFA) is a committed group of parents and staff who work together to support and enrich life at the academy.
Throughout the year, the PFA plans and delivers a wide range of fundraising events, held both during the school day and at weekends, often as part of wider community activities. Past events have included discos, fetes, and cake sales. Funds raised through these events are used to provide valuable resources that enhance our children’s educational experiences.
Previous fundraising has enabled the PFA to support a variety of initiatives, including learning packs for every pupil; dictionaries across the school; WWF sponsored animals for each class; subsidising school trips and visiting speakers and purchasing a class set of keyboard.
The PFA has also helped mark special occasions such as Mother’s Day, Easter, the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative and organising the Year 6 leavers’ celebration.
The PFA are always looking for support, whether you would like to become a member or simply volunteer at events. If you are interested, please contact Harriet via the school office.
